Yamamasa Koyamaen 山政小山園 - Matsukaze 松⾵
Experience the fresh elegance of Kyoto with Matsukaze, a bold yet balanced usucha (thin tea) matcha. This ceremonial-grade tea delights with tender green notes, a touch of creaminess, and a refined astringency that awakens the palate. Best enjoyed with water heated to 80–85°C, where its flavors shine without becoming overpowering.
Matsukaze, meaning "pine wind," evokes the tranquil sound of wind rustling through pine trees. In traditional tea ceremonies, this poetic image mirrors the soft hiss of water boiling in the kettle—an essential part of the matcha ritual.
