Matcha & Quality
Matcha is 100% green tea that has been shade grown and stone milled.
We source our matcha directly from Japan in small batches to ensure freshness and authenticity. Every tin and bag is selected with care, with a focus on quality, origin, and overall experience.
All our matcha and hojicha are sourced from Japan. Alongside carefully selected teas from respected producers such as Marukyu Koyamaen (丸久小山園) and Yamamasa Koyamaen (山政小山園), our own Matcha La Vie line is also sourced directly from Japanese tea producers and factories.
No. Our matcha and hojicha contain no artificial additives or sweeteners.
Storage & Freshness
Matcha is sensitive to light, heat, and air. To preserve its quality:
- Keep it in its original tin or a sealed aluminum seal bag.
- Store it in a cool, dark place (the fridge is ideal for long-term storage).
- Ensure the lid is tight after every use to prevent oxidation.
Once opened, we recommend consuming your matcha within 1-2 months for the best flavor and color. Unopened tins usually have a shelf life of 6-9 months if stored correctly.

The U.S. de minimis exemption for shipments from Canada valued under $800 USD is changing. As a result, orders shipped to the U.S. may now be subject to duties, taxes, or tariffs at the time of import.
These charges are determined by U.S. customs policies and may change over time. Unfortunately, we do not have control over these rates, and any applicable fees are the responsibility of the customer.
