This authentic shin chasen is designed for real whisking rather than decoration. Based on historical Song Dynasty tea tools, it is carefully crafted to support controlled movement, even blending, and fine stable foam. Each piece reflects the balance and rhythm essential to traditional dian cha practice.

Materials

Purple Bamboo
Naturally resilient with firm elasticity. Provides precise control and a responsive rebound, ideal for those who prefer a more traditional and structured whisking feel.

White Bamboo
Lightweight and flexible with a softer touch. Creates smooth and even foam with less effort, making it suitable for daily use and a gentler introduction to whisked tea.

Craft and Use

Each chasen is entirely handcrafted from natural bamboo. The prongs are split, shaped, and calibrated specifically for Song style whisking, allowing powdered tea to fully express its aroma, texture, and depth.

Care
